Sign Up and Account Setup
Create your SimuLive account and complete initial profile setup to start automating live quality events.
Important Notes
- Google OAuth Login is recommended for seamless Google Drive integration and file access.
- Credits or Subscriptions are required before creating runbooks. Visit Dashboard, then Subscription to purchase.
- Google Drive integration is available with one click authorization. SimuLive is a Google verified application.
- Zoom integration is available with one click authorization. SimuLive is approved on the Zoom Marketplace.
- For detailed Zoom integration setup including required OAuth scopes and redirect URLs for private apps, visit /knowledge-base/zoom.
- Verify integration status by clicking the info icon next to the app title in Dashboard, then Integrations. This is only available for private integrations.
- Active status with no warnings indicates all required scopes are correctly configured.
- Runbook creation requires an active subscription, an authorized Zoom account, and an authorized Google Drive account.
- Event date and time must be at least 10 minutes ahead of the current time.
- Ensure proper Zoom licensing matches your event requirements and selected features.
- For Meeting events, a Zoom Pro, Business, or Enterprise account is required. Basic accounts support up to 40 minutes while Pro and above support unlimited duration.
- For Webinar events, a Zoom Webinar plan is required with the appropriate attendee capacity (100, 500, 1000, 3000, 5000, or 10000 attendees).
- HD Video Quality: For 720p and 1080p streaming, ensure HD video is enabled in your Zoom account settings under Settings, then Meeting, then In Meeting (Advanced), then HD video.
- Video File Requirements: Use high quality video files (720p or 1080p resolution) for the best streaming experience.
- Chat Feature: Meeting and webinar chat must be enabled in Zoom account settings under Settings, then Meeting, then In Meeting (Basic), then Chat.
- Live Streaming: Multi platform live streaming to YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, TikTok, and custom RTMP destinations is available based on your subscription plan. Configure streaming destinations when creating or editing a runbook.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Visit the SimuLive homepage and click Get Started or Sign Up to create your account. You have two registration options:
Google OAuth Login (Recommended): Click Continue with Google for instant signup with automatic Google Drive integration. SimuLive is a Google verified application, so this streamlined approach grants immediate access to upload files for your video content and event materials.
Email Registration: Alternatively, sign up using your email address. You will receive a verification email. Click the verification link to activate your account. After email signup, you will need to authorize Google Drive access from Dashboard, then Integrations using our one click authorization.
Once registered, complete your profile by setting your default timezone, contact information, and notification preferences in Dashboard, then Settings. A properly configured profile ensures accurate event scheduling and timely notifications.
